Dear Shao-Lin,
Hello again. After thousands of steps and climbing up and down the mountains with a backpack loaded with heavy,fragile equipment, we are at rest in Shanghai before our return. It was strange to visit sights and not have the backpack and an an interview and photos to take. We did still take photos as there are too many historic and beautiful places that we wanted to remember in a picture. After lovely weather for all of our shoots, the climate in Shanghai is cold and rainy.

This city continues to grow. When we were here in 1987, we took a "ped a cab" to our hotel after being mobbed at the train station for being a foreigner and the poor driver wasn't allowed on the property. When we were here some years later, modern western style dance and activities had already replaced a lot of the traditional chi kung and T'ai Chi in many of the parks and on the Bund.

We are rested, have kept good health are looking forward to seeing all of you for class on Tuesday, November 19th.
